Job Description:

The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the manufacturing plant, employees, visitors, and company assets. This includes controlling access at the main gate, monitoring movement within the premises, and conducting regular patrols to prevent unauthorized activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Control and monitor entry and exit at the main gate for employees, visitors, contractors, vehicles, and raw materials in accordance with access control procedures
• Verify identification documents, gate passes, and visitor authorization as per security protocols
• Maintain accurate and traceable records of visitors, vehicles, and material movement in security registers and logbooks
• Conduct scheduled and random patrolling within the plant premises to ensure compliance with safety and security standards
• Prevent unauthorized access, theft, pilferage, and damage to company property through effective surveillance and monitoring
• Monitor CCTV systems and promptly report and document any suspicious or non-conforming activities
• Enforce company security policies, safety procedures, and statutory compliance requirements
• Coordinate with management and emergency response teams during incidents, emergencies, and crisis situations
• Report, record, and escalate security breaches, incidents, and hazards as per incident management procedures
• Support fire safety systems, emergency preparedness, evacuation procedures, and mock drills
• Perform general administrative and liaison activities in support of security operations
• Provide support to the administration department as per operational requirements
• Maintain and control all security documentation and registers (inward–outward movement, visitor logs, vehicle registers, incident reports, etc.) as per document control procedures

Qualifications & Skills:

• Minimum education graduate
• Prior experience in security services, preferably only in a manufacturing industrial environment
• Good knowledge of security procedures, safety regulations & Administration
• Ability to maintain discipline and handle situations calmly
• Good observation and communication skills
• Physically fit for patrolling duties
