JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a results-drivenSales Representativewith a background in thehospitality sectorto drive revenue growth through new client acquisition, relationship management, and strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B and B2C sales within hotels, restaurants, or event-based businesses.
Salary:Starting from 90,000 XAF
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
- Identify and acquire new corporate clients, event planners, travel agencies, and long-stay guests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business.
- Conduct sales presentations, site inspections, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and sales campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports for management review.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- 2–3 years of proven sales experience, preferably within the hospitality, hotel, or restaurant industry.
- Must have a background inhotel management/hospitality sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must reside in Yaoundé or be willing to relocate.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Existing network of contacts in the hospitality or corporate travel sector.
- Experience with digital sales and social media promotion.
- Knowledge of the Yaoundé hospitality market.
