Main mission
The Zoo Manager is responsible for the overall management of zoo operations , including animal welfare , staff supervision, administrative and financial management, as well as that the visitor experience .
Responsibilities main
1. Animal management and welfare
1. Ensure compliance with animal welfare standards
2. Supervise the care , feeding , and health of the animals
3. Collaborate with veterinarians and specialists
4. Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the enclosures
2. Personnel Management
1. Supervise the teams (animal caretakers, maintenance staff , security, reception ) 2. Plan the schedules and distribute the tasks
3. Ensure training and performance monitoring
3. Operational Management
1. Supervise proper functioning daily life of the zoo
2. Ensure the safety of visitors and staff
3 Put in place and follow internal procedures
4. Administrative and financial management
1. Develop and monitor the budget
2. Manage purchases ( food , equipment , medicine )
3. Write activity reports
5. Experience visitors and communication
1. Improve the visitor experience
2. Supervise the activities educational and events
3. Participate in promoting the zoo
Desired profile
1. Training in management, biology , zoology Or domain similar 2. Experience in team management
