Business Head - Intermediate Bulk Containers (IBC)
Job Summary
The Business Head will lead the overall strategic direction, sales, marketing, and operational activities for the IBC division (Rigid, Composite, or Flexible/FIBC). The primary goal is to drive market share, increase revenue, ensure profitability, and maintain high standards of product quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for the IBC segment, including identifying target industries (Chemical, Pharmaceutical, Food & Beverage) and expanding regional/national reach.
Sales & Revenue Generation: Drive sales targets, build a robust sales pipeline, lead high-value contract negotiations, and ensure P&L (Profit and Loss) ownership.
Business Development: Establish and maintain relationships with key clients, buying houses, sourcing partners, and large-scale industrial consumers.
Operational Oversight: Coordinate with production and supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality standards for various IBC types (e.g., Composite, Stainless Steel, Conical Bottom).
Market Intelligence: Stay updated on industry trends, such as the growing demand for 1000L tanks, regulatory requirements for chemical resistance, and competitive pricing in the market.
Candidate Profile & Skills
Experience: 10-15+ years of experience in B2B sales, marketing, or business development, specifically within industrial packaging, plastics, or polymer compounding.
Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of IBC technologies (Rigid vs. Flexible), material specifications (HDPE, Stainless Steel), and logistics requirements.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and sales.
Skills: Strong negotiation, analytical, and strategic planning skills.
