Network Engineer

We are looking for a Network Engineer to join our client's fast-growing team.

Responsibilities:

• Daily operation support, configuration, maintenance of customer’s network infrastructure 
• Network performance monitoring, troubleshooting and fault analysis; 
• Network equipment inventory management and cable patching; 
• All-around technical support from end-user devices (e.g. PC / printer / IP phone 
• Video Conferencing equipment) to network infrastructure; 
• Infrastructure enhancement projects execution; 
• Patch management, testing and reporting; and 
• Vendor support and incident management liaison.

Requirements:

• Possess university degree, major in information technology, computer engineering or related disciplines  
• Have at least 7 years of relevant IT working experience, preferably in banking and government sectors;  
• Have solid knowledge and background in the areas of LAN/WAN routing and switching, Wi-Fi, network management system, network access control, firewall and structured cabling; 
• Have proven experience in implementation and support of network systems; 
• Have recognized qualification / certificate in networking, e.g. Cisco CCNA or equivalent; and 
• Preferably possess knowledge and experience in Software-defined Networking or unified communication infrastructure (i.e. IP phone and video conferencing systems).
