Accountant

About the role

This role involves maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with Hong Kong regulations and tax requirements. You will prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements to support management decisions, manage accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and oversee invoice processing. You will assist with statutory filings and annual audit preparations, monitor internal controls, handle e-banking transactions, and liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with Hong Kong regulations and tax requirements

• Prepare financial reports, budgets, and cash flow statements to support management decisions

• Manage accounts payable/receivable, reconcile bank statements, and oversee invoice processing

• Assist with statutory filings (profits tax, salaries tax) and annual audit preparations

• Monitor internal controls and address financial discrepancies

• Handle e-banking transactions

• Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes

About you

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline

• Minimum 2–3 years of accounting or administrative experience

• Solid knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards, tax regulations, and IRD requirements

• Proficiency in accounting software Xero and e-banking platforms

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese (Mandarin is an advantage)

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
