· The Industrial Engineering team within the Client is seeking
Industrial Engineers to join our growing team located in Everett, Washington, USA.
·
Position Overview:
· Our Industrial Engineering contractors will focus on documenting time standards and processes to focus on production stability. This includes observing build processes and recommending process improvements through lean methodologies. Candidates will be engaging with all manufacturing, engineering, and production-supporting organizations and should be a self-starter as well as a collaborative team player.
· The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
· Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering
· Exposure and/or experience working in an engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and/or production environment
· Experience performing work observations and time studies.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
· Skilled in effective time management, communication, and organizational skills.
· 1 or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing with knowledge of lean principles
· Experience developing and deploying standard processes.
Typical Education/Experience
· Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
· Onsite: This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, WA.
· Shift: This position is primarily to support 1st shift, but open to candidates preferring 2nd shift as well.
· Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:
· We are looking to place candidates on daily tasks associated with validating current hours per order/job performance, as well as creating new time standards to be used to implement new scheduling software. Follow on actions will include analyzing value added versus non-value added processes, recommending process improvements, and elevating safety and quality hazards and risks for root-cause investigation.
