BGS Engineering is looking to hire a Technical Drafter in Long Beach, CA. This role will Manufacture PRE (Protective Removable Equipment), Stencils and Paint Premask for multiple commercial sites and programs throughout Client , including, but not limited to Puget Sound, Portland, Victorville, BSC, and San Antonio for 7-Series, Heritage MDC and BDS Aircraft. Create part files using CADD software. Optimize the manufacturing process. Software utilized: iCut Production Console, Summa GoProduce, Summa Axis Control, SummaFlex, CorelDraw, Redars, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Ultimaker Cura.

Position Responsibilities:

Communicate with customers
Communicate with team members and project managers.
Quality inspect PRE, premask and Mylars.
Manufacture 3D PRE utilizing 3D printers.
Manufacture Stencils, PRE and Premask per customer requirements.
Package manufactured parts for shipping to customers.
Coordinate production areas to produce jobs in an efficient manner.
Create and produce aircraft temporary registration numbers utilizing latex printers.
Create and produce fuselage identifiers for Client South Carolina.
Identify materials correctly for specific jobs.
Inventory for JIT ordering.
Team lift up to 45 pound rolls of material to load machines.
Work onsite daily.
Required Skills:
High School diploma or higher.
Preferred Skills:
Experience manufacturing paint premask, stencils and PRE (Protective Removable Equipment)
Experience manufacturing 3D parts utilizing 3D printers.
Experience utilizing Summa and Kongsberg plotters and drum cutters

Onsite/remote/hybrid: 100% onsite
Interview Information: inperson for local, video call for non-local camera optional
Physical demands (if any): Team lift up to 45 pound rolls of material to load machines.
OT/DOT expected?: possible OT opportunities

Duration: 6 months, possible extension
