The ideal candidate will drive our multi-cloud strategy, ensuring seamless container orchestration and deployment workflows.
1. Multi-Cloud Infrastructure & Platform Management
Design and maintain scalable, highly available infrastructure across AWS, Azure, GCP, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and DigitalOcean.
Architect cloud-agnostic solutions that maximize portability and avoid vendor lock-in.
Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Pulumi, and cloud-native tools.
Optimize cost efficiency across multiple cloud providers through strategic workload placement.
Design and implement multi-cloud disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
2. Kubernetes & Container Orchestration Leadership
Architect and manage production-grade Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud environments.
Design and implement multi-cluster, multi-cloud Kubernetes deployments.
Manage Kubernetes distributions including EKS (AWS), AKS (Azure), GKE (GCP), OKE (OCI), and DOKS (DigitalOcean).
Implement advanced Kubernetes patterns: operators, custom resources, admission controllers.
Design service mesh architectures using Istio, Linkerd, or Consul Connect.
Optimize cluster autoscaling, resource allocation, and workload scheduling.
3. Advanced CI/CD & GitOps
Design sophisticated CI/CD pipelines that deploy across multiple cloud environments.
Implement GitOps workflows using ArgoCD, Flux, or similar tools.
Create automated testing strategies for multi-cloud deployments.
Develop advanced deployment patterns: blue-green, canary, progressive delivery.
Build cross-cloud promotion pipelines with environment-specific configurations.
4. Monitoring & Observability
Implement unified monitoring across all cloud platforms using Prometheus, Grafana, and cloud-native tools.
Design distributed tracing solutions for multi-cloud microservices architectures.
Establish comprehensive logging strategies using ELK Stack, Fluentd, and cloud logging services.
Create cross-cloud alerting and incident response workflows.
Implement chaos engineering practices to test multi-cloud resilience.
5. Security & Compliance
Implement zero-trust security models across all cloud environments.
Manage secrets, certificates, and access controls using HashiCorp Vault, cloud KMS, and Kubernetes secrets.
Ensure compliance across different cloud providers' security frameworks.
Implement network security policies and micro-segmentation.
Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management.
6. Leadership & Strategic Planning
Lead technical architecture decisions for multi-cloud initiatives.
Mentor junior DevOps engineers on Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies.
Drive adoption of cloud-native best practices across development teams.
Participate in vendor evaluation and cloud provider selection processes.
