- Job Description:
- Client is hiring contractors as Airframe Stress Analysis Engineer (Experienced) to work at our Client Washington Design Center in our Structures Organization based in Everett, WA or Renton, WA.
- As a Structures Analysis contract engineer, you possess a solid understanding of airplane structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite structures. You will ensure the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life. The analyst also ensures the airplane structure meets all other design requirements including fail-safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.
- Positions could include the following analysis commodities: Fuselage, Wing/Empennage, Propulsion Structures, Systems Stress, Interiors Stress, Seats Stress
Position Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with other engineering groups to establish the product's environment.
- Support product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
- Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
- Works under minimal direction.
Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
- Bachelor's degree in one of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil, or Structural Engineering degrees.
- 8+ years related work experience in aircraft stress analysis.

Education / Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
