Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Adult & Peds)

Job Title – Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg (Adult & Peds)
Unit – Medical-Surgical / Skilled Nursing Department
Duration of Assignment – 13 Weeks
Location – King City, CA
Shift – Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Guaranteed Hours – 36 Hours/Week
Salary Range – Up to $65/hour (Based on Experience)

Job Duties:

• Provide direct nursing care to adult and non-critical pediatric patients in a Med/Surg setting

• Float between Medical-Surgical and Skilled Nursing Departments as required

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care according to physician orders and nursing standards

• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies safely and accurately

• Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes or emergencies

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Support hospital operations during rapid response crisis staffing needs

Requirements:

• Active, unrestricted California RN License – Required (Submit CA-licensed candidates only)

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg RN experience (Adult & Pediatric)

• Cerner EMR experience – Mandatory

• ACLS and PALS certifications – Required

• Ability to care for non-critical pediatric patients

• Willingness to float to Skilled Nursing Department

• Holiday coverage required

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
