Job Description:

Performs routine tool set up activities. Makes minor repairs. Performs manufacture, assembly and fabrication of tools. Operates various factory support equipment to move materials and tools as required. Provides tooling support to other organizations. Assists in determining fabrication and assembly processes for the design. Assists in reverse engineering design and fabrication processes for parts.
Day to day: This team follows a tool readiness process which involves preventive maintenance on tools. Some responsibilities include being able to carry max 35 lbs, moving tools around the shop, potential forklift use, and understanding how to read blueprint drawings
Must Haves:
Tool maintenance or repair experience
Ability to read blueprint drawings

Education / Experience

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

Shifts: 1st shift 6:00 am – 2:30 pm
Onsite/remote/hybrid: 100% onsite – Kennedy Space Center, Fl
Interview Information: single round interview
Physical demands (if any): Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
Successful completion of training is a contingency for this assignment – OJT or formal classroom training
