Human Resources Generalist

POSITION SUMMARY:

• The Human Resources Business Partner provides broad based professional human resources generalist support and other duties as assigned to support the overall business. This position will partner with all HR functions to implement practices, policies and procedures in order to be responsive to the Hospital's goals, culture and competitive practices. All HR staff members must be focused on the points of integration for seamless patient care, employee effectiveness and experience.
• Essential Functions:
• 1. Works directly with the HR Business Partners and Management to effectively promote positive employee relations.
• 2. Maintains visibility with all employees and addresses any issues and concerns that are identified in a timely and professional manner.
• 3. Ensures compliance with state and federal laws through efficient administration of company HR policies, procedures, programs and initiatives.
• 4. Conducts employee meetings and assists in training and development sessions on various topics as needed.
• 5. Develops solid understanding of and ability to interpret both business and HR metrics to drive results.
• 6. Counsels leaders through Human Resource topics such as: workforce planning, staffing, performance management, employee/labor relations, and overall culture of engagement.
• 7. Undertakes special projects on behalf of HR and associated client groups.
• 10. Partners with the Employee & Labor Relations department of complex employee relations issues and union activities.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree

EXPERIENCE:

• 3-6 years of Human Resources Generalists/Junior Business Partner experience
