Job Description
Prepare and manufacture pilot-scale batches in accordance with approved batch instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and applicable safety and quality requirements.
Complete and maintain accurate batch records, production documentation, and related records in a timely and compliant manner.
Weigh and prepare ingredients, materials, and samples for pilot plant and laboratory activities in accordance with established procedures.
Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and test runs for various product and package configurations, as required.
Support production operations, including weighing, blending, filling, packaging, cleaning, and other related activities as assigned.
Perform material weighing and handling activities in accordance with established requirements and safety practices.
Blend materials in accordance with approved batch records, SOPs, and applicable quality standards.
Clean and maintain equipment, work areas, and rooms in accordance with established cleaning procedures and specifications.
Support laboratory activities and operate laboratory equipment in accordance with training, procedures, and applicable safety requirements.
Skills:
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities, work assignments, and operational needs.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to document work clearly and accurately.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate records.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications or similar business software.
Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and internal business partners.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to comply with required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), safety, and hygiene requirements.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform work on hard surfaces for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, reach, push, pull, and lift as needed to perform job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to ascend and descend stairs as needed to access work areas and perform job duties, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Work may be performed in an environment where exposure to dust, fumes, noise, or other typical production conditions may occur.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
