Key Responsibilities: ● Plan, deploy, and manage the network infrastructure (LAN, Wi-Fi, switches, routers, firewalls) across the entire office, including all meeting rooms, conference rooms and the auditorium. ● Ensure uninterrupted high-speed internet and internal connectivity for employees, visitors, and events. ● Maintain, and monitor firewalls and perform regular firewall rule audits, cleanup, and optimization. ● Collaborate with security teams to implement firewall policies aligned with compliance standards ● Configure and maintain network devices, including managing VLANs, IP assignments, and wireless controllers. ● Monitor network performance using tools and proactively resolve bottlenecks or outages. ● Support AV systems and live-streaming network requirements for meetings and events in auditoriums and conference rooms. ● Provide technical support to users for network and connectivity issues. ● Maintain strong network security through firewalls, VPNs, access controls, and regular security audits. ● Coordinate with ISPs and hardware vendors for service delivery, maintenance, and upgrades. ● Perform routine maintenance, firmware updates, and upgrades on network hardware. ● Maintain documentation of network topology, device configurations, and change logs. ● Ensure regular backups and implement disaster recovery protocols.
Qualifications and Skills: ● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. ● 5-7 years of experience as a Network Engineer or similar role. ● Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VLANs etc.) and network security. ● Experience with managing Cisco, Legrand, or similar network equipment. ● Familiarity with AV/VC systems and how they interface with the network (Zoom Rooms, Microsoft Teams Rooms, etc.). ● Experience with firewall configuration and network security best practices. ● Proficient in using network monitoring and diagnostic tools. ● Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: ● Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CompTIA Network+. ● Experience managing networks in smart offices or hybrid work environments. ● Familiarity with structured cabling and network infrastructure planning
