Project Test Advisor

We are seeking an experienced Project Test Advisor to join our team and ensure the delivery of high-quality project outcomes through structured testing and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will work closely with project teams, developers, and stakeholders to design and implement test strategies, manage test plans, and oversee the full test lifecycle from planning to execution and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies and plans for projects.

• Collaborate with project managers and development teams to define testing objectives and scope.

• Design and execute test cases, including functional, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Identify, log, track, and manage defects and issues using appropriate tools.

• Ensure all testing activities are aligned with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.

• Provide timely and accurate test reports, status updates, and risk assessments to stakeholders.

• Recommend improvements to existing processes and testing standards.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in quality assurance.

• Mentor and support junior QA or testing staff as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project testing, quality assurance, or a similar role.

• Proven experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.

• Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, HP ALM).

• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall project methodologies.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
