Our client, a global leader in engineering solutions and processing technologies, is seeking a Sales Coordinator / Regional Sales Manager to lead commercial activities across Southeast Asia. With over a century of expertise and a strong international presence, they support major industries such as infrastructure, energy, chemicals, metals, mining, and circular technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales professional to drive regional growth, develop new markets, and coordinate business activities across multiple locations. Based in Jakarta, you will act as the central point for sales initiatives, market development, and customer engagement in the region.
Role Summary
You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, supporting regional coordination, and expanding the customer base through a strategic and hands-on approach. A major focus will be building new market segments and introducing a broad product portfolio into diverse industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and order intake targets in Southeast Asia.
• Coordinate sales efforts across regional teams, ensuring effective communication and alignment on leads, contracts, and performance.
• Manage and guide sales representatives and support personnel to drive results.
• Identify and pursue new market opportunities based on product-market fit, especially in emerging sectors.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
• Conduct site visits and customer meetings as part of a structured sales plan.
• Prepare timely, professional responses to quotations and tender requests.
• Promote the full product range through cross-selling opportunities with other business units.
• Take initiative in identifying and championing untapped business opportunities within the organization.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (preferably Oracle).
• Provide regular forecasts, sales reports, and performance updates.
• Support the collection of outstanding receivables when relevant to sales activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in technical or industrial B2B sales, with a strong track record of results.
• Strong commercial acumen, customer-focused mindset, and strategic thinking.
• Professional communication skills in English (spoken and written).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, collaborate, and build trust.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of managing priorities without close supervision.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Southeast Asia.
• Valid Class A driver’s license is required.
