Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Head of Human Resources to lead factory HR operations at the company’s Batam-based manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate must possess deep expertise in industrial relations, HR compliance, and employee engagement within a multinational manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all HR functions in the factory including labor relations, recruitment, training, performance management, and employee welfare.
Maintain strong relationships with labor unions and ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and company policies.
Act as a business partner to plant leadership in driving HR strategies aligned with operational goals.
Handle dispute resolution, disciplinary processes, and employee grievances effectively.
Support change management initiatives, HR systems implementation, and continuous improvement.
Key Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience in factory/manufacturing settings, with strong industrial relations focus.
Prior working experience in a multinational company is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor law and union negotiation processes.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to work across functions and influence senior management.
Excellent communication in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Age maximum: 50 years.
Preference given to candidates who reside or have worked in Batam. Relocation assistance available for qualified candidates.
