About the Role

Our client, a leading and fast-growing consulting services company, is hiring a Financial Controller to support its growth and expansion plan. This role will be a key member of the management team, acting as a finance business partner and overseeing end-to-end finance, accounting, tax, treasury, and reporting functions while strengthening policies, SOPs, and governance.

Job Description

• Lead statutory financial accounting, tax management, treasury, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve finance policies, SOPs, and internal controls.
• Act as finance business partner to management, supporting strategic and operational decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies.
• Manage and develop a lean finance team; build strong cross-functional collaboration.
• Liaise with external parties (auditors, tax consultants, banks) and, when required, support client-related finance matters.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA is a strong advantage).
• Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, and tax.
• Background as ex-auditor from reputable audit firm with exposure beyond pure audit.
• Experience in consulting, professional services, or service-based companies preferred.
• Strong understanding of statutory reporting, tax, treasury, and management reporting.
• Strong communication, people management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Comfortable working in a lean organization and hands-on environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
