ICT Infrastructure Architect
Our client in the pension fund industry is looking to recruit an ICT Infrastructure Architect who will Implement, operate and administer server infrastructure, software, network and general information system both on-premises and cloud based. Support service providers in the implementation and support of telecommunications equipment. Plan and manage administration tasks for existing resources, and for new project implementations; Manage the changes associated with the Change request distribution. Scope of coverage includes Servers, Printers (Local & Network), Windows accounts, BCP Site, all Software (Enterprise or otherwise), Backup Systems, etc.

Job Details
The job holder’s activity shall include, though not necessarily be restricted to:
Infrastructure Design and Implementation
Develop comprehensive ICT infrastructure solutions, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
Lead the implementation of infrastructure projects, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
Systems Administration Services
Ensure smooth operation and availability of Windows and Linux server systems, anticipating and planning for resource needs.
Maintain data management and file structure, optimize domain systems, and automate user management.
Network and Security Management
Design and implement robust network architecture, including LAN, WAN, VPN, and wireless networks.
Implement best practices and technologies for firewall, intrusion detection/prevention, and endpoint protection.
Performance Monitoring, Optimization, and Systems Resources Management
Monitor and optimize ICT infrastructure performance, proactively resolving issues.
ICT Technology and Support
Drive technology innovation to improve efficiency, productivity, and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and standards.
Implement system security procedures and manage server and data access control.
Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
Coordinate Business Continuity tests to ensure that all systems and processes are operational within required timeframes during a disruption.
Candidate’s Profile
High level of analytical and problem diagnostic skills required,
Ability to work under pressure, and with minimum supervision
Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention to detail
Qualifications
University degree (B.Sc. Or M.Sc.) in Computer Science or Engineering.
At least 5 years' experience managing IT infrastructure & BCP Administration.
IT professional qualifications (MCSE, Microsoft Azure) required.
Role is based in Lagos State.
