Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing complex accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting month-end and year-end close processes. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and improving financial processes. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the accounting team, providing guidance to ensure performance and objectives are met.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal accounting policies.
• Review and analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and risks.
• Support audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Monitor and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Mentor and review work of junior accounting staff.
• Collaborate with finance, tax, and operations teams as needed.

Qualification & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g.,SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
• Advanced proficiency in Excel. 
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• CPA preferred (or equivalent certification).
• English Proficiency. (B2 or C1)

Preferred Experience:

• Public accounting background.
• Experience with financial audits and regulatory reporting.
• Process improvement or system implementation experience.
• Multinational accounting experience.
