Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Blue Yonder Demand Planning & Sequencing Consultant with hands-on experience in Blue Yonder Demand Planning (BY DP), Sequencing, implementation, configuration, and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate should have strong functional knowledge of demand planning and sequencing solutions, with the ability to work with business teams to deliver effective planning solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Implement, configure, and support Blue Yonder Demand Planning and Sequencing solutions. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional solutions. Configure and support demand planning processes including forecasting, statistical models, demand sensing, and exception management. Configure and manage sequencing processes based on business requirements and operational constraints. Support end-to-end implementation lifecycle including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. Analyze business processes and provide recommendations to improve forecasting accuracy and production planning efficiency. Collaborate with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, and Business teams for solution delivery. Prepare functional documents, test scenarios, process flows, and training materials. Troubleshoot issues, provide enhancements, and support continuous improvement initiatives. Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy of planning outputs.
Required Skills & Experience: 3–6 years of experience in Blue Yonder Demand Planning (BY DP) implementation/support. Hands-on experience with Blue Yonder Sequencing / Production Sequencing modules. Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Forecasting, Supply Chain Planning, and Manufacturing processes. Experience in configuring planning parameters, forecasting models, and business rules. Experience in implementation lifecycle: requirement gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and support. Knowledge of integration/data flow with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle preferred). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and client-facing communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Blue Yonder Luminate Planning solutions. Exposure to Supply Planning, Fulfillment, or Inventory Optimization. Knowledge of SQL/data analysis. Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
