Job Title: Reconciliation Operations Analyst Experience: 3+ Years Budget: 20–25 LPA Work Mode: Remote
As a Reconciliation Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of transactions across marketplace platforms, payment processors, and internal systems. You will be responsible for executing reconciliation processes, identifying mismatches, resolving variances, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards of accuracy and compliance.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations across:
Payment processors
Orders/Buyer–Seller payment transactions
Settlement files and ledger reports
Bank statements
Monitor transaction failures, mismatches, and exceptions using reconciliation tools and dashboards.
Investigate and resolve unreconciled items or mismatches.
Ensure accurate and timely responses to identified variances.
Prepare reconciliation reports with analysis and root cause summaries.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.
Maintain SOPs and documentation for audit and compliance.
Participate in UAT testing for new tools or reconciliation logic changes.
Provide feedback to enhance reconciliation coverage, speed, and accuracy.
Bachelor’s degree (Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field).
Minimum 3+ years of experience in reconciliation and accounting/payments data.
Strong understanding of accounting flows and reconciliation processes/tools.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (formulas, pivots, VLOOKUP).
Self-motivated, independent, and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate across global teams.
Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with SQL, Tableau, or MicroStrategy is a plus.
