About the Role

We are seeking a Techno-functional Consultant – o9 Supply Planning to join our Supply Chain Planning team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of functional expertise in supply chain processes and technical proficiency in the o9 platform. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to design, configure, and enhance supply planning solutions within o9.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Configuration

• Engage with business users to gather and analyze supply planning requirements.

• Configure and customize o9 Supply Planning modules (Demand-Supply Matching, Inventory Planning, Production Planning, etc.).

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and configuration documentation.

Implementation & Support

• Participate in end-to-end implementation cycles including design, build, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support.

• Support data integration between o9 and ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JDA.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data loads, plan runs, and UI/UX functionality.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work with cross-functional teams — business users, data engineers, and solution architects — to ensure seamless project execution.

• Conduct user training sessions and prepare process documentation for new functionalities or system enhancements.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and automation using o9 capabilities.

• Stay updated with o9 platform enhancements, new features, and supply chain best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3–5 years of total experience in Supply Chain Planning / IT Consulting, with at least 2 years hands-on experience in o9.

• Strong understanding of Supply Planning processes such as MRP, DRP, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, and Inventory Optimization.

• Hands-on experience in configuring and troubleshooting o9 Modeler, Solver setups, Constraints, and Planning Workflows.

• Working knowledge of data integration tools (SQL, Python, REST APIs) and o9 data models.

• Familiarity with ERP data structures, preferably SAP APO/IBP, ECC, or S/4HANA.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

• Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• o9 Platform Certification (Supply Planning / E2E Planning) is highly desirable.

• Experience with other planning tools such as Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, or SAP IBP.

• Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS) and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
