Job Title: o9 Demand Planning Consultant (Techno-Functional)

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Working Days: Monday to Friday (5 days/week)

Budget: Up to ₹18 LPA

Notice Period: Maximum 1 Month

Job Summary

We are looking for an o9 Demand Planning Consultant (Techno-Functional) to design, configure, and deliver end-to-end demand planning solutions using the o9 Digital Brain platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong mix of supply chain domain expertise and hands-on o9 technical skills, and will work closely with business stakeholders to translate planning requirements into effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Understand and analyze business requirements related to Demand Planning, Forecasting, and S&OP / IBP

• Lead requirement-gathering workshops with business users and planners

• Design and implement demand planning solutions using o9 capabilities, including:

  • Statistical Forecasting

  • Demand Sensing

  • Promotion & Event Planning

  • New Product Introduction (NPI)

• Translate business requirements into scalable o9 solution designs

• Validate planning logic, KPIs, forecasts, and outputs with business stakeholders

• Support UAT, end-user training, and go-live activities

Technical Responsibilities

• Configure o9 models, including dimensions, measures, hierarchies, and business rules

• Develop and maintain:

  • o9 Worksheets

  • Dashboards and Analytics

  • Planning logic using o9 rules and scripts

• Work on data integration with source systems such as ERP (SAP preferred), Oracle, or other planning systems

• Troubleshoot issues, perform performance tuning, and support solution stabilization

• Collaborate with technical teams on data pipelines, automation, and integrations

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Skills

• Strong understanding of Demand Planning and Forecasting concepts

• Hands-on experience with S&OP / IBP processes

• Good knowledge of supply chain KPIs and planning metrics

• Ability to explain complex planning logic in clear, business-friendly terms

• Experience working closely with business users and planning teams

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with the o9 Solutions platform

• Strong understanding of:

  • Data models and planning hierarchies

  • Measures, calculations, and rules in o9

• Basic knowledge of SQL, data integration, and ETL concepts

• Experience integrating o9 with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

Nice to Have

• Prior experience in large-scale o9 implementations

• Exposure to global supply chain environments

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
