 Experience: 6 to 12 Yrs   
 Shift Schedule: 2 pm to 11 pm 
 Duration Required: 6 months Project (Extendable)   
 Mode: Remote 
 Budget: 1.8 LPM 

 Core Focus Skills:  Kimball, Modelling concepts, SCDs, Query, Performance Tuning , Partitioning, Optimization, Medallion, healthcare use case, one of the modeling tool proficiency. 
  

 Role Overview: 
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Modeler to support the consolidation of multiple data marts into a unified enterprise data warehouse for a healthcare payer organization. The role involves working across teams to model core insurance domains such as membership, product, coverage, and claims, using Oracle 21c and Erwin Data Modeler. This is a great opportunity to grow in a collaborative, data-driven environment focused on improving healthcare analytics and operational efficiency. 

 Key Responsibilities: 
·                Assist in designing and maintaining conceptual, logical, and physical data models for healthcare payer domains. 
·                Minimum 5+ years of experience in Data Modeling, hands-on experience with Kimball, Medallion architecture modelling. 
·       Should have handled 50+ TB implementation using data warehouse concepts along with Data Partitioning techniques. 
·       Familiarity with healthcare payer data, especially membership, product, coverage, and claims. 
·       Hands-on experience with Erwin Data Modeler. 
·       Strong SQL skills and understanding of Oracle 21c database concepts. 
·       Strong analytical and communication skills. 
·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 
·       Support the integration and consolidation of data marts related to: 
·       Membership (enrollment, eligibility, demographics) 
·       Product (insurance plans, benefit packages) 
·       Coverage (policy details, coverage tiers, network rules) 
·       Claims (medical, pharmacy, dental claims, adjudication) 
·       Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and ETL developers to gather requirements and translate them into scalable data models. 
·       Use Erwin Data Modeler/Any other Modelling tool to build and manage models aligned with enterprise standards. 
·       Work with Oracle to implement and optimize data structures for performance and scalability. 
·       Ensure models support reporting, analytics, and regulatory compliance. 
·       Participate in data governance, metadata management, and documentation efforts using tools like Collibra, Alation etc. 
·       Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 

 Preferred Qualifications: 
·                 Exposure to data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling. 
·       Experience with data integration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend). 
·        Understanding of HIPAA and PHI data handling requirements. 
·       Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) is a plus.
