Job Purpose: 
A Rubber Technologist is responsible for ensuring that the production of manufacturing products starts and finishes within budget and on time. They plan, schedule, coordinate and organise different production schedules and activities. The production manager ensures all products meet the required quality standards. Using different techniques and ways, these managers elevate the manufacturing and production of an organisation.

Responsibilities:    
Preparation of rubber compound formulae and streamlining its mixing stages
• Evaluating compound properties and modifying compound formulation based on trend and specification
• Observing viscosity in rubber compounds for producing different tyre components
• Monitoring compounds of new projects and implementing the same in large scale
• Creating new processes as per business demand in compound design and mixing
• Monitoring test results of all non-conforming batches/compounds, analysing the reason for non conformity, suggesting suitable disposals as per the guideline from R&D. Ensuring the disposal follow ups during the process
• Processing control and troubleshooting in mixing related problem in Banbury mixing
• Publish monthly compound trend report
• Coordinating with on field QA team for customer feedback, analysing and initiating/tracking corrective and preventative action
• Managing and modifying mixing parameters in Mesnac & Zeppelin Mixer systems
• Supervising instruments like MOONEY viscometer, MDR, MFR, Electronic Densimeter, tensile tester for evaluating rubber properties
• Responsible for downtime analysis in  mixing with respect to process issues
• Coordinating with production department to prevent quality violation in shop floor
• Stream lining of new mixers for rubber compound mixing

Education:    Graduate in Rubber Technology or Master in Rubber Technology
