Job Purpose:

Responsibilities:
• Planning and Scheduling: • Coordinate with production departments to ensure timely completion of orders. • Plan and schedule dispatch activities based on production schedules and customer demands. • Inventory Management: • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock for dispatch. • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement team to replenish stock as needed. • Order Processing: • Receive and process customer orders. • Verify order details, including quantity, specifications, and delivery instructions. • Packaging and Labeling: • Ensure proper packaging of goods to prevent damage during transit. • Label packages accurately with relevant information such as product codes, batch numbers, and shipping addresses. • Documentation: • Prepare shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels. • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and documentation requirements. • Coordination with Logistics Providers: • Liaise with logistics providers (such as carriers and freight forwarders) to arrange transportation. • Negotiate shipping rates and terms to optimize cost-effectiveness. • Tracking and Monitoring: • Track the status of shipments and provide updates to customers as necessary. • Monitor delivery timelines and address any delays or issues that arise. • Quality Control: • Conduct quality checks on outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy and compliance with quality standards. • Address any quality issues or discrepancies with relevant departments. • Customer Service: • Communicate with customers regarding order status, delivery schedules, and any inquiries or concerns. • Resolve customer complaints or issues related to shipping and delivery. • Continuous Improvement: • Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency gains in dispatch operations. • Implement measures to streamline workflows and reduce costs while maintaining quality standards. • Health and Safety: • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the handling and transportation of goods. • Implement measures to minimize risks of accidents or injuries in the dispatch area. • Team Management (if applicable): • Supervise and provide guidance to dispatch staff. • Conduct training sessions to ensure staff are knowledgeable about dispatch procedures and safety protocols. •
