Job Summary
The Store Keeper is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and issuing materials, maintaining stock records, and ensuring proper storage of electrical and industrial components.
Key Responsibilities
Receive materials and check quantity & quality as per purchase order Maintain stock register and inventory records (ERP/manual) Issue materials to production or site as per requirement Proper labeling and storage of electrical items and tools Monitor stock levels and inform purchase department for reorder Maintain FIFO (First In First Out) system Keep store area clean, organized, and safe Prepare GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and delivery challan Conduct periodic physical stock verification Handle inward and outward material documentation
Required Skills Basic knowledge of electrical components (cables, panels, switches, etc.) ERP or inventory software knowledge (preferred)
Good record-keeping and organization skills Attention to detail Basic computer skills (Excel, Word)
Qualification Diploma / Graduate / ITI (any stream) Experience in industrial store or electrical store preferred
Work Environment Industrial manufacturing unit / warehouse Coordination with purchase, production, and accounts team
