The Senior Accountant is responsible for supervising all the accounting transactions based on Mexican NIFs, and delivering the month-end closing with high quality and in compliance with Mexican regulations.

Ensure that all the accounting transactions are recorded timely and accurately with a high standard of supporting documentation.

Review the accounting entries performed by other team members and performs accounting entries such as accruals, deferrals, and reclassifications as needed, to ensure compliance with Mexican NIFs and local tax requirements. Such entries include banking operations, taxation, intercompany movements, payroll, adjustments of reserves and provisions and so on.

Prepare financial statements in a timely and accurate manner complying with the Mexican regulations and following the company’s global accounting policy.

Perform Balance sheet reconciliations, explain and adjust outstanding balances.

Record collections and payments, through the interface of accounts payable and receivable modules. (AP\AR)
