Lead and manage a team responsible for processing US payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal and state laws.

Oversee bi-weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly payroll runs including salary calculations, deductions, benefits, and bonuses.

Ensure compliance with all relevant US tax regulations including IRS guidelines, W-2, W-4, and 1099 filings.

Serve as the primary point of contact for US-based clients and internal stakeholders regarding payroll matters.

Utilize and manage payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, Ceridian, SAP, or other enterprise platforms.

Monitor payroll metrics, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.

Ensure data integrity and security of employee payroll information.

Drive process improvement initiatives and automation to streamline payroll operations.

Stay updated with changing US payroll legislation and implement necessary compliance measures.

Provide training, mentorship, and performance management to payroll team members.

Coordinate with HR, finance, and compliance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.

(Optional but beneficial) Support understanding of Indian payroll practices if cross-functional support is needed.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or related field.

5+ years of US payroll experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.

Strong understanding of US payroll laws, taxation (federal and state), and compliance requirements.

Hands-on experience with payroll software such as ADP, Workday, Ceridian, or SAP.
