Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced AWS Partner & Field Marketing Manager to drive joint go-to-market initiatives, partner marketing programmes, and field marketing activities. The role involves planning and executing co-marketing campaigns, managing AWS Marketing Development Funds (MDF), organizing customer and partner events, and generating qualified leads and sales pipeline for startup and enterprise business teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B marketing, cloud partner programmes, field marketing, campaign execution, and agency management, with a strong focus on measurable pipeline generation and marketing ROI.

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Partner Marketing: Develop and execute annual co-marketing plans in collaboration with AWS partner development and field marketing teams.
• MDF & Partner Funding: Apply for, track, manage, and claim AWS Marketing Development Funds (MDF) and other partner funding, ensuring compliance with programme requirements and proof-of-execution guidelines.
• Field Events & Campaigns: Plan and execute AWS Summits, immersion days, GameDays, roundtables, webinars, and customer workshops.
• Lead Generation: Manage lead-generation agencies, define campaign briefs and targets, monitor lead quality, and review monthly performance.
• Sales Pipeline Development: Ensure timely handover of campaign and event leads to inside sales and sales teams, and track their progress through pipeline development and deal closure.
• AWS Partner Ecosystem: Maintain AWS Partner Network (APN) and Partner Central profiles, case studies, solution briefs, and AWS Marketplace listings.
• Partner Relationship Management: Build relationships with AWS account managers and partner managers to generate referrals and co-selling opportunities.
• Marketing Performance Reporting: Track and report campaign expenditure, leads, pipeline contribution, bookings, and return on marketing investment and MDF.
• Agency & Vendor Management: Coordinate with external agencies and vendors to ensure campaign delivery, budget adherence, and achievement of agreed targets.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, inside sales, partner teams, and lead-generation agencies to align marketing initiatives with business objectives.

Key Result Areas (KRAs)

• Marketing-sourced pipeline and qualified lead generation.
• AWS MDF and partner funding utilization and timely claims.
• AWS co-selling opportunities, partner referrals, and joint pipeline development.
• Field event execution, target-account participation, and lead conversion.
• Agency and vendor performance against targets and budgets.
• Maintenance of partner profiles, solution content, customer case studies, and marketplace listings.

Candidate Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in B2B marketing, with at least 3 years in partner, channel, or field marketing within a cloud, SaaS, or IT services company.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or other hyperscaler partner programmes, preferably including MDF management.
• Proven track record of executing marketing campaigns and events that generate measurable sales pipeline.
• Experience managing external agencies and vendors against defined targets and budgets.
• Working knowledge of CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Zoho, or Salesforce, along with marketing automation tools.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to present and coordinate effectively with partner teams, sales leadership, and customer CXOs.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA in Marketing preferred.

Good to Have

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification or relevant AWS Partner accreditations.
• Existing professional network within AWS India partner and field teams.
• Familiarity with AWS Marketplace and ACE co-selling processes.
• Experience with cloud partner marketing, demand generation, and pipeline attribution.

Work Requirements

• Bengaluru-based role with a 100% work-from-office arrangement.
• Occasional travel within India for AWS partner and customer events.
