Job DescriptionWe are looking for a positive, proactive and detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to oversee allproject operations from inception to execution and to ensure projects are completed on time. TheTechnical Project Manager is responsible for maintaining budgets, enforcing deadlines and supervisingteam members of multiple projects.

The incumbent will document instructions for end users and assist with testing of the final product. Youwill communicate with stakeholders during all phases of the project, and close it efficiently.The incumbent should be able to technically lead/guide a team of 5 to 7 various skilled team members,while contributing individually.

Experience

6+ years in a corporate IT environment 5+ years of experience in project management Other relevant experience in a related technical field (application development,

deployment/implementation and infrastructure) Work experience in a professional servicesindustry, preferred

Work experience of managing software development team of 5 to 6 members Work experience in defining project KPIs and metrics Work experience of the end to end project from concept to delivery

Requirements

The role will have responsibility to manage multi-technology project. Experience working in a multi-skilled engineering environment coordinating Change Requests

and Service Requests. Experience of managing projects with personal accountability for delivering to time and cost

for large and complex projects Mastery of project management methodology, tools andtemplates (includes program/project planning, schedule development, scope management andcost management)

Track record of customer focus, based on openness, trust, and delivering on promises Ability to work highly matrixed, multi-functional IT organization Experience of working with 3rd party vendors/internal IT team to implement cloud technologies Experience across packaged and bespoke systems and infrastructure, ideally on an

international basis Management skills to manage one or more large, complex projects simultaneously IT

background with experience across the systems development life cycle with experience in allproject phases – plan, initiate, elaborate, design, build, test, implement including agilemethodology.

Mastery knowledge and use of industry-standard project methods, tools and techniquese.g.AGILE , Scrum, etc. Working knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA

Experience of delivering multiple enterprise-scale technology projects in Java/J2ee,Microservices, Containerizations and Devops capability

Strong communication and interpersonal skills (includes negotiation) Excellent written and verbal communication skills – must be able to communicate fluently in

English both verbally and in writing Leader in the use of IT methodologies, processes andstandards for project management

Working experience of performance management and goal setting of team members and self.

Responsibilities

Monitors and manages project baseline to ensure activities are occurring as planned - scope,budget and schedule – manages variances Proactively identify risks and issues on projects -leading team to develop risk management and issues management plans Identifies potentialpoints of contention for missed deliverables creates and implements strategy to mitigateshortfalls in timeline and budget

Anticipates problems before they occur; defines the problem or risk; identifies possible causes;works with team to identify solutions; selects and implements most appropriate solution

Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities andthreats

Analytical skills and problem solving skills needed to manage multiple factors on a projectsimultaneously

Demonstrate business analytics to manage and meet sponsor and customer needs Manage project’s control items/deliverables for customers and status reporting to internal

management and customers
