The Client:
Our Client, one of the largest privately-owned shipping groups in the world, is looking to recruit an Internal Controls Manager for their Holding Company’s offices in Limassol.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyze the numbers produced by the shipmanagement department and provide explanations and insights, liaising closely with the responsible officers of Shipmanagement.
Support the implementation of accounting policies and of internal controls and procedures, monitoring their operability and ensuring their proper function.
Provide support to any projects in development, of both an accounting and non-accounting nature.
Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:
Deep knowledge of and working experience in a shipmanagement environment.
Accounting background, preferably member of an accounting body (ACA, ACCA).
Experience in the application and monitoring of accounting policies and /or internal controls.
Good working SAP knowledge and experience of its various modules – Asset module, Treasury, invoicing.
Any experience of working on the development and implementation of projects would be considered an advantage.

The position is for the Holding Company’s offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
