The Position:
Internal Auditor - The successful candidate will be part of doValue’s Internal Audit Team. This role is ideal for a professional with 3-5 years of auditing experience, preferably within the internal audit department of a regulated organization or a reputable professional audit service firm.
Main responsibilities:
Plan and design audit programs and manage complex audits of operational, governance, and support processes.
Conduct risk-based audits in alignment with Group Internal Audit methodology and international standards.
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls, identify areas for enhancement, and propose actionable recommendations.
Prepare detailed audit findings and effectively communicate observations to relevant stakeholders.
Deliver high-quality audit reports, including audit findings and recommendations.
Monitor and validate the implementation of agreed-upon corrective actions to address audit issues.
Participate in the annual risk assessment process to support the development of a dynamic risk-based annual Audit Plan.
Build trust and maintain strong working relationships with management and business units.
Work independently under pressure while delivering high-quality results.
Provide constructive challenge and objective insights during audit engagements.
Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Internal Audit.
Requirements:
University degree and/or post graduate degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance or other related discipline.
3-5 years of relevant experience in similar roles, preferably within the internal audit department of a regulated organization (e.g., credit institutions) or a reputable professional audit service firm.
Proven experience in credit reviews, particularly in restructuring solutions for NPL management, AML audits, or ICT audits, is highly advantageous and will distinguish the candidate.
Valuable Complementary Qualifications / Education: ACCA, ACA, CIA, CPA, CISA will be considered as an advantage
