Our client, a boutique advisory firm specializing in delivering tailored financial and strategic solutions to businesses across various industries, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to join their dynamic team.
The Position:
As an Associate Director, the successful candidate will lead and oversee critical client engagements, providing strategic advice and delivering tailored financial solutions across a range of industries. He/She will play a key role in driving complex transactions such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising initiatives, and organizational restructurings, while ensuring exceptional client outcomes and fostering long-term relationships.
In this pivotal role, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, take ownership of high-impact projects, and contribute to the strategic direction of the firm.
Duties and Resposibilities:
Take on senior roles within client organizations, such as CFO or COO, to provide hands-on strategic guidance.
Set up and organize clients' accounting departments to ensure accurate financial management.
Develop management reporting templates and internal processes to provide stakeholders with accurate, real-time financial information.
Develop comprehensive financial models to assess various deal structures and their implications.
Implement streamlined procedures and processes to improve efficiency across client organizations.
Provide senior level support to the Managing Director for end-to-end execution of corporate finance transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising initiatives, divestitures, and restructurings.
Analyze and address financial and operational issues that may arise during transaction negotiations.
Advise on optimal deal structures to maximize benefits and minimize risks for clients.
Evaluate financing options, including debt and equity, to support client transactions.
Assist clients in raising capital for acquisitions or strategic initiatives, focusing on private equity, venture capital, debt financing, private bond offerings, and strategic partnerships.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, accounting, or engineering
ACA or ACCA or CFA Qualification
7-10 years of relevant work experience
Background in Audit work will be considered a plus
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Location: The position is for the Client’s offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.
