The Client:
On behalf of our client, an international robotics startup headquartered in Cyprus with operations in Germany, we are looking for a hands-on HR leader to build and lead the people function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and oversee core HR processes across the group (Cyprus HQ, German subsidiary and future entities).
Establish HR policies, procedures and document flow (contracts, onboarding/offboarding, handbooks).
Drive culture-building with the founders; define values and embed them into daily routines and communications.
Design and run a feedback system (performance cycles, pulse surveys, development plans).
Own recruiting end-to-end: role scoping, sourcing, first-round interviews, candidate experience.
Manage external recruiters and agencies.
Coordinate with local authorities and advisors on employment matters (Cyprus/Germany) where required.
Organize corporate events (onboarding days, internal meetups, team offsites) to strengthen culture and retention.
Work with founders on org structure design and workforce planning.
Skills - Qualifications – Experience:
5+ years in HR/People roles.
Strong command of HR operations: policies, payroll coordination, contracts, and compliance.
Proven track record in recruiting (in-house) and running first-round interviews; experience managing external recruiters.
Experience implementing and running feedback/performance systems.
Excellent English and communication skills; strong analytical and structured thinking.
Proactive, curious, hands-on attitude; passion for building from scratch and scaling effectively.
Location: The position is for the Company’s offices in Limassol, Cyprus.
