The Client: CYPET Technologies LTD is an international manufacturer of machinery for the production of plastic bottles. They are the global leaders in single stage Injection Stretch Blow Molding equipment for production of large PET containers, as well as PET containers with integrated handles.
The Position:
On behalf of our Client, CYPET Technologies Ltd, we are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive their sales growth in Africa & Middle East.
As a Business Development Manager, you will her your customers understand their technology’s value and how it can help them better serve their customers. You will develop new and enduring relationships with a diverse range of clients, from small factory owners to large corporate entities. You will be comfortable presenting CYPET Technologies Ltd and products, virtually and face-to-face to anyone from junior buyers to senior executives. You will be responsible for pushing the entire sales process, from prospecting to follow up to close.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain an excellent understanding of CYPET’s technologies and value proposition
Extensive monthly travelling to visit existing and prospective customers, sales partners
Grow customer base by active searching for and contacting new leads
Understand and align customer needs with CYPET’s offerings
Create quotations, negotiate terms and close sales
CRM data entry and administration for your area of responsibility
Creation and execution of sales strategies
Develop and maintain enduring relationships with customers and leads
Co-ordination with Marketing for planning area-specific marketing actions
Actively involved in organisation and participation in trade fairs
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
Abide by the company’s code of conduct
Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or Engineering discipline
Minimum 2 years of experience in a technical sales role in the machinery or plastics industry
Demonstration of strong communication skills (verbal and written) with an ability to communicate technical and commercial information
Demonstration of empathy towards customers
Willingness to travel regularly
Strong organisational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience with internet sales methods, such as search engine marketing and search engine optimization will be considered beneficial
Location: The position is for the Client’s Offices and Factory in Dali, Nicosia.
Remuneration: A competitive remuneration package will be offered to the successful candidate according to qualifications and experience including sales commissions.
