Business Applications Specialist

The Company

The company is one of our clients, a top-rated professional services firm, offering Fiduciary, Accounting, Tax and Advisory services. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced Business Applications Specialist to support and maintain our internal business platforms in Nicosia.

Position

This role is crucial in ensuring smooth daily operations by handling system support requests, assisting with implementations, contributing to key business projects, and acting as the primary liaison between end-users and IT teams.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support and troubleshooting for internal platforms.
• Assist in the implementation and rollout of new features or modules within these systems.
• Support business and IT teams during the planning, execution, and delivery phases of application-related projects.
• Collaborate with business users to understand and resolve system issues or requests.
• Document processes, support requests, project contributions, and solutions to build a knowledge base.
• Support training and onboarding of users on system functionalities.
• Coordinate with IT and external vendors for escalation and resolution of complex technical issues.
• Proactively track system usage and performance, flagging any issues and suggesting improvements to optimize functionality.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for operational efficiency.

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in business applications support, systems implementation, or related roles.
• Familiarity with ERP, CRM systems and platforms is a plus.
• Previous involvement in business systems or IT projects (e.g., testing, documentation, rollout support) is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with business users and technical teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn, take initiative, and grow within the role.

Location

The position is for the offices of the Company in Nicosia.
