IT Officer

The Company

The company is one of our clients, a top-rated professional services firm, offering Fiduciary, Accounting, Tax and Advisory services. We are seeking a highly organised and experienced IT Officer to support and maintain our internal business platforms in Nicosia.

Position

The IT Officer will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the reliable performance of all systems and networks. The successful candidate will contribute to the implementation of IT initiatives and help optimize the organization’s technology environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
• Provide first- and second-line technical support to users across departments, resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups.
• Communicate with external vendors and manage service contracts.
• Monitor system performance and provide regular status updates to the IT Manager.
• Manage user accounts, groups, and permissions in Active Directory and related systems.
• Maintenance and support Microsoft 365 & SharePoint. 
• Work alongside with the Operation and IT Department to assist with relevant projects

Skills & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• 1 - 2  years of experience in system administration or IT support
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools and SharePoint site administration will be considered as an advantage
• Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and independently, depending on the task
• Experience with Moebius, Navision and Jira Services Management will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and compliance standards (ISO, GDPR, DORA) will be considered an advantage

Location

The position is for the offices of the Company in Nicosia.
