PR and Communication Senior Specialist

The Client:

Our client Allwyn, a leading gaming company in Greece and Cyprus and one of the most renowned in its industry worldwide is expanding its operations in Cyprus and is looking to recruit a PR and Communication Senior Specialist.

Position Mission: 

To execute the Public Relations strategy and activities that will support the promotion of company’s image, brand, products, and services offering according to plan, business requirements and regulatory guidelines. Propose and execute below the line initiative that creates user generated content

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creates, optimizes, and delivers PR materials and engaging activations for media channels and audiences to promote company brand, products, services, CSR initiatives, sponsorship assets and corporate issues
• Supports the relationship management with the ambassadors of each team, and contributes to the identification of their PR needs for the promotion of Allwyn’s brand, products and services, etc.
• Handles the execution of PR & below the line events and initiatives according to plan, budget and requirements, coordinating and managing the necessary internal or external resources
• Contributes to the development of PR strategy & below the line initiatives
• Supports the creation of the public relations plan for the promotion of the brand, products and services
• Liaises and cooperates with all internal and external stakeholders to execute actions for the promotion of Allwyn’s brand, its products, services and CSR initiatives, based on the company’s customer segmentation
• Cooperates with internal stakeholders and respective teams for submission files to the regulator (3MC / NBA) enabling compliance of PR material with the regulatory framework
• Participates in the identification of the most suitable vendors and collaborates with them for the execution of the PR / BELOW THE LINE initiatives
• Evaluates the effectiveness of the PR / Below the line initiatives/campaigns (metrics, performance), develops and communicates the required reports
• Monitors the competition and latest market trends, identifying and proposing opportunities for promotion of Allwyn and its products, services and proposes relevant actions
• Develops and updates an agenda that promotes extrovert culture (participation in sector awards, conferences, arts / cultural / lifestyle events etc.)
• Handles the selection procedure (tenders) and billing of vendors and cooperates with the procurement/accounting teams
• Handles the photographic coverage of corporate activities, as requested from management and communication teams
• Responsible for creating and producing video content for various platforms, including websites, social media, marketing campaigns and events, while being skillful in filming, editing and post-production processes, and ensuring that the final product meets the company’s standards
• Creates and updates the team’s database (archive, contact lists etc.)
• Develops relations and proposes partnerships with online communities and online ambassadors for the promotion of the company’s online products
• Identifies online trends and insights, and optimize activations based on the insights
• Responds to ad-hoc assignments to meet business needs that are not specifically or previously described and are related to the content of current job and the personal skills and capabilities

Skills/ Qualifications/ Experience:

• BSc degree in Communication, Media, Marketing or any other relevant field
• 6+ years hands-on experience in Public Relations, Marketing or Communication
• Very good knowledge in the design and delivery of PR
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong achievement and results oriented mentality
• Problem solving skills, attention to detail, impact and persuasion
• Fluent in Greek, English
• Excellent MS Office knowledge
   

Location:

The position is for the Client's offices in Nicosia, Cyprus.

Remuneration: 

Annual Gross Salary based on qualifications and experience: €40K – €45K plus other benefits
