As we expand, we are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Service Engineer to join our team and contribute to our service excellence.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a capable and experienced Service Engineer who can take charge of machine installation, troubleshooting, and after-sales support. The ideal candidate will be hands-on with packaging machines and capable of managing customer interactions, training junior technicians, and ensuring overall satisfaction with our technical services.
This position plays a key role in the profitability of the service department and will be part of the active management group of the company. Incentives are tied to performance and service revenue growth.
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or Diploma in Electronics / Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
- 2~7 years of experience in a similar service engineering role
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot primary and secondary packaging
machines (labelling, liquid filling, cartoning, Flow wrapping, FFS and case packing)
- Provide on-site and remote (online) technical support to customers
- Drive service revenue through installation jobs, AMC contracts, and spare parts sales
- Offer technical consultation on repairs, provide cost estimates, and recommend preventive maintenance plans
- Manage customer complaints efficiently and maintain strong client relationships
- Promote service programs and maintain the service budget
- Collaborate with principals and OEMs to develop parts lists, service documentation, and support training
- Travel domestically and internationally for service, FAT and training purposes
