JOB TITLE> OPERATIONS & PLANNING MANAGER
Purpose Statement The operations manager leads the field operations team on execution of multi-disciplinary integrated projects through the effective application of project and operations management processes, quality assurance techniques and peer reviews. To be responsible for driving the implementation of processes and procedures to develop and improve field execution and operational based processes. The operational planning manager oversees short to long-term plans that help the organization function smoothly. To be responsible for tracking resources, schedules, and other benchmarking information to make sure the business objectives are achieved and stays on track for the future.
Key Deliverables •Manage the operational team of engineers, technicians, and contractors in achieving the companies’ objectives •Ensure compliance and conformance to regulations and industry standards and procedures •Provide key contribution to achieving Zero station Down-time through proactive risk management and contingencies planning. •Manage all Non-Productive Time and Non-conformance reports promptly to ensure the achievement of the company’s production target •Drives cost saving and efficiency optimization initiatives •Develop strategies for closing gaps between actual and forecasted deliverables. Knowledge/Skills: •OFSE and E&P project and operations lead experience across multiple sectors: Subsurface, Reservoir, intervention and Production, Drilling, Facilities. OFSE experience field service manager or operations manager experience is an added advantage. •Good knowledge of Industry safety procedures and environmental management systems •An understanding of all industry legislative and regulatory requirements, including project proposals, submissions, reports, approvals, cost recovery components, and auditing •P&L Management experience •Possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and have a high level of comfort in making presentations to various stakeholders. •Clear leadership skills with experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams
ROLE PROFILE Minimum Qualification / Experience •Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. An MBA or M.Sc. in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering is an advantage •Minimum 10-15 years of OFSE / upstream oil industry experience •Commercial/technical experience with Oil & Gas service/supply company and its contracting terms and condition will be an advantage Personality Traits •Excellent listener and communicator •Ability to go the extra-mile in a professional, collaborative, and flexible approach to work. •Ability to multi-task and prioritize •Proactive and innovative •Team oriented and passionate about work, demonstrate ability to build sustainable teams •Ethical
