Internal Relationships: Admin and Logistics, Site Supervisors, After Sales & Technical, Finance, Regional Operations Managers, Business Development Team, HSE Manager.
Job Summary
Responsible for overseeing and ensuring safe and efficient operation of the warehouse and inventory management.
Job Responsibilities – Key Result Areas
• Develop, lead and execute warehousing strategies for the company to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness.
• Create and implement warehouse policies and procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Monitor inventory levels and implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize stock outs
• Analyse data to optimize warehouse operations.
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics and provide reports to Management
• Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
• Ensure inventories are accurate and control inventory levels by ensuring physical counts are conducted and reconciled with automated system utilising help of the warehouse team
• Manage purchase orders and coordinate receipt of goods and services

Highly developed inter-personal and communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels within the business
Ability to build, lead and motivate a skilled team able to meet objectives and agreed targets
Good IT skills, in particular spreadsheets and databases and a knowledge of warehouse systems

Warehousing Reporting (Out-of-stock OOS, Average Inventory Days, Loss Report)
0.001% Loss Threshold of stock (Stock count exercise rating by Finance)
Policy Development and Execution in first year
E2E Fulfilment Efficiency on all WH activities (Lead time: 72 hours)
Telematics digitalization of inventory project before EOY 2024
Education and Experience
Education
BSc or HND in Social Sciences or in a related field Demonstrable experience of running a warehouse, preferably in the automotive industry with 2-5 years’ experience and managerial capacity in inventory management and control role Member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply or Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport will be an added advantage.
Experience
Knowledge of warehouse management software and systems Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques may be advantageous Knowledge and understanding of warehouse and inventory management & control principles.
