JOB ROLE: SALES AND MARKETING MANAGER
INDUSTRY: FMCG
We are looking for an organized sales and marketing manager to drive product advertisement, sales and increase market share. The sales and marketing manager will be responsible for creating competitive advantages for our products and services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for projecting the company's brand and driving strategies to increase product awareness by observing the market, competitors, and industry trends. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills as well as in-depth knowledge and understanding of sales and marketing in the FMCG industry is key to this role.
Responsibilities:
▪ Research and develop marketing opportunities and plans, understand consumer requirements, market trends, and suggest system improvements to achieve the company's marketing goals.
▪ Gather, investigate, and summarize market data and trends to draft reports.
▪ Develop and implement new sales and advertising plans and develop marketing campaigns and revenue strategies, track sales activities and reports
▪ Maintain relationships with key clients by way of regular visits, understanding their needs, and anticipating new market opportunities.
▪ Analyse budgets, prepare annual budget plans, schedule expenditures, and ensure that the sales team meets agreed quotas and goals. Identifying cost-reduction processes and cost-effective marketing solutions.
▪ Maintain current market/industry data/trend, expand client-base and advise management on corporate strategy through recommendations and analysis of market data
Requirements
▪ A bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field. With a minimum of 6-8 years’ experience in FMCG marketing and sales.
▪ Strong analytical, organizational, and creative thinking skills, coupled with knowledge of data analysis and report writing. ▪ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
▪ Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures and work under pressure.
