About the job
The Corporate Sales and Partnership officer will be accountable for maximizing the Corporate sales and Partnership volume of the company, apart from pushing sales, Manage and drive relationships with corporate clientele (existing and potential) in your city/region to enable growth and achieve revenue objectives, Identify and develop new markets in the region to drive the business targets of the region.
Responsibilities
Establish Sales Channels: Build a healthy portfolio of partners/affiliates/agencies to drive account acquisition - creating revenue
generating partners Manage and drive relationships with corporate clientele (existing and potential) in your city/region to enable growth and achieve revenue objectives Identify and develop new markets in the region to drive the business targets of the region.
Operational Efficiencies: Build, track, and manage a pipeline of sales opportunities Achievement of overall sales of the region (including partners, commercial buildings, malls & Corporates) Maintaining performance through input KPIs daily Assist in the implementation of promotions and BTL activities for the acquisition of new customers across segments.
Customer Focus: Understand customer requirements and articulate problem statements so as to help pitch/ build the right product Develop a deep and long-standing relationship with KDMs within the customer portfolio to maximize life-cycle value Build a pipeline for upselling and cross-selling to an existing account Partnership Development: Identify, initiate, and nurture strategic partnerships with industry leaders, associations, and key stakeholders.
Client Acquisition: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive business development strategies to acquire new clients.
Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify potential business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends. Utilize legal insights to navigate regulatory landscapes and anticipate market challenges.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and industry players. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions that align with their business goals.
Proposal Development: Collaborate with internal teams to develop compelling proposals and presentations for potential clients and partners. Ensure all proposals adhere to legal and compliance standards.
Negotiation and Contract Management: Lead negotiations with partners and clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Oversee the contract management process, collaborating with legal teams to finalize and execute agreements.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
Advanced Degree in Marketing, sales or Economics (or related courses)
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Corporate sales and Partnership in Nigeria is a must.
Experienced in both direct sales and channel management
Strong client relationship management and networking skills
A consultative selling approach with demonstrated experience in HMO, Insurance, fitness or hospitality service field is mandatory.
Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory
Excellent communication and presentation skills and a distinctive analytical and structured approach
A flare for problem-solving with strong organizational skills
Proven track record of owning responsibility and scaling up revenue
Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs)
