Position Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Sales Representative to drive sales growth in the industrial sector. This role involves actively marketing a range of technical products, building strong client relationships, and providing expert consultation to match products with various materials (wood, plastic, paper, carton, boards). Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth – Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
New Business Development – Follow up on leads within 24 hours and identify new business opportunities.
Technical Consultation – Advise clients on the best chemical solutions tailored to their needs.
Industry & Product Knowledge – Work closely with Research & development to deliver competitive solutions and stay ahead of industry trends.
Account Management – Maintain and grow existing customer relationships, provide product training, and oversee stock levels.
Debt Collection & Admin – Assist with collections, customer queries, and ensure accurate reporting.
Compliance & Operations – Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing, stock management, and distribution.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education:
o Grade 12 (Matric) required.
o Tertiary diploma or qualification in sales, marketing, or a related technical field (advantageous).
Experience:
o Minimum 5 years’ technical sales experience in plastics, paper & packaging, chemicals, or a related industry.
o Proven track record in business development and sales.
o Experience with Salesforce CRM (advantageous).
