SALES REPRESENTATIVE - ALUMINIUM PRODUCTS
Overview: Meet sales targets, implement action plans, and achieve goals set by management by efficiently serving both new and existing customers, while driving growth in the sales of the products.
Duties:
Sales Target Achievement: Proactively meeting or exceeding sales goals set by management. This includes monitoring progress against targets, analysing performance, and adapting strategies as needed.
Strategic Planning: Developing action plans that align with management's objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, targeting new market segments, and positioning products effectively.
Problem Solving: Being solutions-oriented to tackle challengeswhether it's troubleshooting issues for a customer or overcoming market competition.
Customer Engagement: Building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers. Prioritizing excellent service to ensure loyalty and repeat business.
Product Knowledge & Promotion: An understanding of the aluminium, steel and similar products desirable. Leveraging this knowledge to communicate value, address customer needs, and ultimately drive increased sales.
Requirements:
Matric qualification with good understanding of technical drawings
Must be in possession of a valid unendorsed driver’s license.
Must have of own vehicle
A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous
Experience having worked in a similar environment would be advantageous.
Remuneration:
Negotiable package around negotiable between R12k to R18k plus travel allowance (R5k), fuel card, tools of the trade and commission
