Agricultural Equipment Marketing Manager – Ladybrand/Bloemfontein
Description
Main purpose: Effective control and management of the agricultural equipment marketing plan to ensure profitable sales and high customer satisfaction. The role requires a technical background and proven experience in agricultural equipment sales and marketing. The position will develop, implement and monitor marketing initiatives, manage inventory and financial performance, and build strong customer relationships in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities
- Draft and drive the agricultural equipment marketing plan for the assigned territory.
- Market and promote a range of agricultural equipment to achieve sales targets and grow market share.
- Process sales transactions and exchanges according to customer needs and company procedures.
- Manage inventory control to ensure product availability and accurate stock records.
- Oversee financial management related to sales, pricing and margins.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting to customers when required.
- Maintain accurate administration and reporting for sales and marketing activities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, handling queries and resolving conflicts professionally.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- 4–5 years' experience in the agricultural equipment industry.
- Technical background with knowledge of agricultural machinery.
- Proven experience drafting and implementing marketing plans.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the territory.
