Description
The Solution Architect plays a critical role in Zensar's technology division, responsible for crafting end-to-end solutions that deliver business value and technical excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of business and technical requirements and the ability to translate them into robust, scalable, secure, and maintainable technology solutions. The Solution Architect will collaborate with developers, project managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to ensure a clear understanding of client needs and industry trends.
- Design high-level and detailed solution architectures that address scalability, security, performance, and maintainability.
- Define integration patterns, APIs, and data flows to ensure seamless system interactions and reliable data exchange.
- Evaluate technology options and recommend best-fit solutions considering cost, efficiency, and long-term viability.
- Create solution blueprints, architecture documents, and technical roadmaps that provide a clear implementation vision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams—developers, project managers, and business analysts—to ensure cohesive solution design and delivery.
- Support project delivery by providing architectural guidance, reviewing designs, and ensuring adherence to governance and quality standards.
- Manage technical risks and make informed technical decisions to keep projects on schedule, within scope, and within budget.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices to keep Zensar's solutions competitive and innovative.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation by encouraging exploration of new technologies and approaches.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in solution architecture with a proven track record delivering complex technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycles, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in designing and implementing APIs, data integration, and system interoperability.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities.
- Proactive and innovative approach to solution design, with a focus on continuous improvement.
